Hi! I'm Carlota Berry. I am a fashion doll enthusiast, and have geared my personal doll collection to customized dolls. For over a year I had been threatening to put up webpages with pictures of my personal collection, but I just could not decide how to go about it and (procrastinator that I am!) I just kept putting it off. One day, my fabulous friend Brian Eklund unveiled Lovering Originals to the Fashion-L mailing list, pining that he had no website where he could display Clif's simply *gorgeous* creations. "Hey!" I thought, "I have webspace! I like artists! Why don't I give my favorite artists webspace?!"

And so Doll Raves was born. I begged my favorite artists to let me put up their work, and was thrilled to find them down-right excited about an artist-themed website! And so eager to share not only their pictures, but their knowledge, as well. I am proud to call them my friends and present their work to you.

As for myself, I do a bit of customizing here and there, but mostly I enjoy restoring dolls and purchasing custom outfits for them. Currently, I am a junior at North Carolina State University majoring in Textile Chemistry and Manufacturing. As a full-time student, balancing my school, work, and doll hobby is difficult, but I manage. School usually (and rightfully) wins most of my time, by the way. So, if you email me and don't hear from me in a few weeks/months, don't be distressed--I'll answer you eventually!
